What it does

A single OpenAI-format endpoint to 80+ providers
25+ free models, and an “openrouter/free” router that picks for you
Handy for trying several models in Aider, goose or opencode without juggling accounts

! The free plan is limited to 50 requests a day on free models (1,000 a day after buying at least 10 credits). Paid models use credits, with a 5.5% platform fee on the Standard plan per their pricing grid. Closed service, not open source.

Requirements: An OpenRouter account (free) and an API key. No credit card for the free models.
